Elderly cyclist drowns after falling into stream

An elderly cyclist has drowned after he fell into a stream in Co Galway.

Gardaí believe the man was on his bike at Screeb near Ros Muc in Connemara when he slipped into the shallow water.

His remains were pulled from the stream just after midday.

Gardaí are investigating but are not treating his death as suspicious.
