Govt announce details of 1,500 free part-time courses

The Government is announcing the details of 1,500 free part-time undergraduate college places for unemployed people.

They will be in the science, business, engineering and technology sectors.

Thirteen institutes of technology, four universities and the National College of Ireland will take part in the scheme which aims to up-skill people who find themselves out of work.
