Bord Snip chairman invited before Oireachtas committee

Economist and chairman of An Bord Snip Nua Colm McCarthy has been invited to appear before a joint Oireachtas Committee.

Labour members of the Committee on Arts, Sport, Tourism, Community, Rural and Gaeltacht Affairs say they want to quiz Mr McCarthy about his findings.

An Bord Snip Nua has recommended the abolition of the Department of Community, Rural and Gaeltacht Affairs and a reduction in the business of the Department of Arts, Sport and Tourism.
