Cowen accused of cutbacks cover-up

Brian Cowen was today accused of covering up plans for multi-billion euro cutbacks until politicians go off on their lengthy summer break.

Labour leader Eamon Gilmore said the Taoiseach was purposely dithering over the official hand-over of the so-called An Bord Snip Nua report so the Opposition cannot question him on it.
