Woman dies after serious fall on Mweelrea Mountain

Gardaí in Co Mayo have confirmed that a woman who slipped into a gully on Mweelrea Mountain yesterday evening did not survive the fall.

The 50-year-old woman, who was from Dublin, was climbing the mountain with her husband when the incident happened.
