Combat Poverty to cease to exist tomorrow

The Combat Poverty agency has donated all of its records to the National Archives as it prepares to go out of business as part of government cutbacks.

The agency is being integrated into a new division of the Department of Social and Family Affairs in an effort to reduce public spending.
