The Gardaí say they will be examining the situation that led to claims of dangerous overcrowding and public transport chaos at Saturday's Oasis concert in Slane.

The Gardaí say they will be examining the situation that led to claims of dangerous overcrowding and public transport chaos at Saturday's Oasis concert in Slane.

Angry concert-goers have been complaining about crowd control issues on the approach to the venue at Slane Castle.

Many also say it took them five hours to get back to Dublin after the gig due to major disorganisation by Dublin Bus.

Gardaí say they will be meeting transport companies and the concert promoters MCD to find out what went wrong and prevent it from happening again.
