Street Performance World Champion to be crowned tonight

The Street Performance World Championship comes to a close in Dublin today.

Contortionists, piano jugglers, magicians and break dancers have been performing for thousands of fans on Merrion Square for the past four days after a successful appearance in Cork last weekend.

It is the 4th annual Street Performance World Championship.

The world champion will be crowned by the newly elected Lord Mayor of Dublin, Emer Costello, just after 8pm this evening.
