Man shot in the back in Finglas

A man in his 20s was shot in the Finglas area of Dublin just before 5pm yesterday evening.

The victim is understood to have been shot in the lower back at Casement Drive by two assailants who fled the scene on a motorbike

The injured man was removed to James Connolly Hospital in Blanchardstown where his condition is not believed to be life threatening.
