Man arrested in connection with Limerick drugs seizure

Gardaí in Limerick have today recovered a large quantity of drugs during a planned operation targeting ongoing criminal activity in the city.

One man has been arrested after cannabis worth an estimated €130,000 was found in a house in Garryowen shortly after 5pm.

The 27-year-old is being detained at Roxboro garda station under Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act.

He can be held for up to 24 hours.
