Belfast burns victim dies in hospital

A woman found on a Belfast street suffering from severe burns has died in hospital police said tonight.

Leslie Sheryl Bremner, 54, was found critically injured on the Newtownards Road at around 4am last Friday and taken to hospital.

Police have been trying to establish ever since what exactly happened to her.

However they have said no crime is suspected.

A spokesman said they were still trying to trace immediate family or indeed any family members or friends of the dead woman.
