SIPTU to protest against cuts in community services

SIPTU members are planning a protest in Dublin city centre today to highlight their opposition to Government cutbacks affecting community-based services.

The union says cuts in areas like the National Drugs Strategy, Community Employment Programmes and childcare services will have a massive affect on the most needy people in society.
