French man dies in hospital

A 32-year-old man, shot in his apartment in Bray, Co. Wicklow on Friday, has died from his injuries.

The French national passed away in hospital at 2am this morning.

He had sustained injuries to his face and upper body in the shooting.

Two people have been arrested by gardaí investigating the attack.

They can be held for up to seven days for questioning.
