Parades Commission to rule on Coleraine march
The North's Parades Commission is due to make a decision today on whether to re-route a controversial loyalist band parade in Coleraine this Friday.
The Pride of the Bann parade is due to pass close to where Catholic man Kevin McDaid was murdered by a gang of Rangers supporters on Sunday.
The organisers have sought permission for a march involving up to 40 bands and 2,000 supporters on Friday night.
The SDLP and Sinn Féin have called on them to voluntarily postpone or re-route the parade out of respect for the McDaid family.
