Pork tracing system 'ineffective'
The committee set up to look at the pork crisis late last year has found that the system for monitoring and tracing Irish pork products is ineffective.
It was also concluded that significant changes will be needed if another total recall of Irish pork products is to be avoided.
The pig meat industry employs over 7,000 people in Ireland and is valued at almost €370m.
The dioxin contamination last December caused huge damage to the reputation of the industry in Ireland and cost the sector millions of euro.
