EU agriculture ministers are due to meet in Brussels today to discuss the matter.

IFA president Padraig Walshe is due to hold talks with the EU Agriculture Commissioner ahead of the meeting.

He says low milk prices, bad weather and a lack of credit are currently making life very difficult for Irish dairy farmers.
