IFA to raise dairy concerns with EU commissioner

The IFA is due to raise the plight of Irish dairy farmers with the EU Agriculture Commissioner in Brussels this morning.

The meeting is taking place ahead of an EU gathering to discuss problems facing dairy farmers throughout Europe.

The IFA says low milk prices, bad weather and a lack of credit are currently making life very difficult for Irish farmers.
