Almost 3,000 calls made to drug hotline

The organisers of a special hotline allowing members of the public to report drug dealing in their communities say it has received almost 3,000 calls since it was launched last September.

The Dial to Stop Drug Dealing initiative is operating in Dublin, Kildare, Cork, Kerry and Limerick.
