Review of redress scheme for abuse victims not ruled out

The Tánaiste is refusing to be drawn on the possibility of a review of the redress scheme for victims of child abuse at state institutions.

The compensation bill for thousands of victims is set to exceed €1bn, 90% of which will be paid by the tax payer.
