Man killed in Down crash

A 25-year-old man died in a car crash in Co Down.

Conall Smyth, 25, from Castlewellan, was killed when the car he was driving crashed on the Castlewellan Road in Clough early this morning.

The incident was reported at 7am. It is understood no other vehicle was involved.

Mr Smyth was the 46th person to die on the North’s roads this year.
