Four held over foiled raid have detention periods extended
Four men being questioned in connection with yesterday's foiled raid on a cash-in-transit van in Lucan in Dublin, have had their periods of detention extended.
The men, who are all in their 20s, are being held at Lucan and Ronanstown garda stations.
The Garda Ombudsman Commission is continuing its investigations into the incident today and is carrying out door-to-door inquiries in the area.
A 27-year-old man was shot dead and another man was wounded in an exchange of fire with gardaĂ during the incident.
