Shaws staff call off planned three-day strike
Staff at Shaws department stores around the country have called off plans for a three-day strike.
The action was due to begin today in protest at changes to work practises which were not agreed with unions.
Employees have now agreed to postpone the strike to facilitate talks with management at the Labour Relations Commission.
Shaws employs 600 workers at 15 stores across 12 counties.
