Value of exports down almost 10% this year

The Irish Exporters Association has warned that more than 90,000 jobs are at risk in the exports sector this year as a result of the recession.

The association says the value of exports was down 9.6% in the first quarter of the year, with the figure set to rise to 13% by the end of the year.
