Probe into nursing home death

The results of a post mortem are expected to determine whether or not the death of an elderly resident at a nursing home in County Mayo is connected to an outbreak of acute gastroenteritis.

Twelve other residents and five staff members have also been hit by the outbreak at St Fionnan's community nursing unit in Achill.
