Search for Dublin schoolboy called off

Gardaí in Dublin have called off a search being carried out on a piece of land for missing schoolboy Phillip Cairns.

The three-day search in Rathfarnham ended this lunchtime with no new evidence in relation to the disappearance of the schoolboy.

Philip Cairns was 13 when he was last seen when he was walking back to school in Rathfarnham in October 1986.
