Harney tells nurses that health cuts are necessary

Health Minister Mary Harney has told nurses that savings need to be made in the health service due to the country's unprecedented economic circumstances.

Ms Harney received a cool but polite reception from delegates during his address at the annual conference of the Irish Nurses Organisation in Killarney today.
