Ulster repossession actions face steep rise

The number of people in the North getting into trouble with their mortgage and faced with repossession action in the courts rocketed by 35% in the first three months of the year.

The North's Court Service said today that 1,020 writs and summonses were issued in the High Court in relation to mortgages.
