Govt to monitor impact of Tesco price cuts

The Tánaiste has told the Dáil that the Government will be monitoring the impact of supermarket price cuts on Irish jobs.

Earlier this week, Tesco cut the price of thousands of products at 11 stores in border counties as part of an effort to win back shoppers who have been going north of the border to get value for money.
