HSE to meet Children's Ombudsman on Friday

Children's Ombudsman Emily Logan says the HSE has agreed to meet her on Friday in an effort to resolve a row over the organisation's child protection audit of the Catholic Church.

Ms Logan has been trying to investigate the HSE's handling of the audit, but announced this morning that she had suspended the inquiry due to a lack of co-operation from the health authority.
