George Lee to contest by-election for Fine Gael

Well-known broadcaster and journalist George Lee is preparing to stand for Fine Gael in the Dublin South by-election, he announced today.

The RTE economics editor confirmed he is stepping down from his high-profile job with the State broadcaster to run for the party in next month’s poll.
