ICTU seeks €1bn job creation and protection fund

The Irish Congress of Trade Unions is calling on the Government to immediately establish a €1bn job protection and creation programme.

ICTU says the unemployment crisis is just as serious as the banking crisis and requires the same urgency, focus and investment to stem the tide of job losses.
