Mother who abandoned baby urged to come forward

A mother who abandoned her baby just hours after giving birth is being urged to make contact with the gardaí or the HSE.

The woman, who is believed to be from eastern Europe, gave birth to the baby girl at the Regional Maternity Hospital in Limerick last month.
