The Environmental Protection Agency says average temperatures in Ireland are likely to rise by 1.8 degrees Celsius by 2050.

In a report out today on the effects of climate change, the agency is also predicting that winter rainfall will increase by 10%, while summer rainfall will decline by up to 17%.
