Youth awaits trial for attacking mother with glass bottle

A 16-year-old boy, arrested for attacking his mother with a glass bottle when she refused to give him money, has been served with a book of evidence and sent forward for trial to the Dublin Circuit Criminal Court.

The teenager, who is on bail, had been charged at the Dublin Children’s Court with assault causing harm to his mother, and criminal damage to his family home on a date in January.
