Mortgage broker agrees to two-year disqualification

The Financial Regulator has reached a settlement with an authorised mortgage broker in relation to breaches of regulatory requirements.

An investigation was launched when John Gurhy, trading as Gurhy Properties and Financial Services or The Debt Doctor, was suspected of failing to comply with provisions of the Consumer Protection Code and the Consumer Credit Act.
