Government representative to travel to Bolivia

The Department of Foreign Affairs is sending a representative to Bolivia amid claims that an Irishman was killed in a shoot-out there.

A spokesperson has confirmed that a diplomatic official based in Argentina is travelling to the area to investigate the reports, which have still not been officially confirmed by the Bolivian authorities.
