Single Electricity Market 'bringing down prices'

Nearly three million electricity consumers are benefiting from lower prices as a result of the Single Electricity Market on the island of Ireland, according to the operators of the initiative.

In their first annual report, the administrators of the market say consumers are also benefiting from a more reliable electricity system and increased competition.
