Dissident republicans blamed for rise in ‘punishment’ attacks

There has been a significant rise in the number of so-called "punishment" attacks in the North and police believe dissident republicans are responsible.

Punishment shootings in the North have been on a continuous falling curve for the last eight years but have shown a recent increase.
