Two people arrested in connection with the stabbing of a teenager in west Dublin yesterday have been released without charge.

Two people arrested in connection with the stabbing of a teenager in west Dublin yesterday have been released without charge.

The 16-year-old was injured when he was attacked at a house on Brookview Drive in Tallaght at 3.40am on Saturday.

He remains in a critical condition in hospital after undergoing surgery.

A man in his late 20s and a youth were arrested in the Tallaght area yesterday afternoon.

They have since been released and a file is being prepared for the DPP.
