Two arrested in connection with Tallaght stabbing

Two people have been arrested in connection with the stabbing of a 16-year-old in West Dublin overnight.

The teenager is in a critical condition in Tallaght Hospital after he was stabbed in a house at Brookview Drive in Tallaght at approximately 3.40am this morning.

Gardaí said a man in his late 20s and a teenager were arrested in the Tallaght area this afternoon.

They are being held at Tallaght garda station where they can be questioned for up to 24 hours.
