Carers to hold 'backwards' protest outside Dáil

Carers are due to hold a demonstration at the Dáil today to protest against any cut in funding for the sector in next week's emergency Budget.

One hundred and sixty-one people will be taking part in the demonstration to represent 1% of the 161,000 family carers in Ireland.
