Man injured in Derry gun attack
A man was shot and injured in a gun attack in the North, police said today.
He was targeted by two men who forced their way into a house in Derry late last night.
Police said the armed men entered the property in the Rosemount area of the city at about 11.45pm and fired several shots.
The victim was hit in both legs and was taken to hospital for treatment for injuries which were not believed to be life- threatening.
The attackers were said to have both been wearing tracksuits, baseball caps and scarves over their faces.
One was about 5ft 10in and the other 6ft 2in, said police, who appealed for any witnesses to contact them.
