Two rescued after boat runs aground in Galway Bay

Two people have been rescued from a boat that ran aground on rocks in Galway Bay last night.

The crew of the 36ft vessel raised the alarm with a mobile phone shortly after 11pm, prompting a search and rescue operation led by the Valentia Coastguard.
