A jury has been sworn in at the Central Criminal Court for the trial of an Offaly man for kidnap and sexual assault.

A jury has been sworn in at the Central Criminal Court for the trial of an Offaly man for kidnap and sexual assault.

The 44-year-old man has pleaded not guilty to one charge of falsely imprisoning a woman in a car on November 6, 2000 and to two charges of sexually assaulting her on the same occasion.
