Road closed amid west Belfast security alert

PSNI officers have closed a road in west Belfast following the discovery of a suspicious object this morning.

The discovery was made outside the Whiterock Leisure Centre on the Whiterock Road.

British army bomb disposal experts have been called to the scene.
