Ahern to publish bill on monitoring of sex offenders

Justice Minister Dermot Ahern is expected to publish new legislation today on the monitoring of high-risk sex offenders.

Earlier this year, the Government was presented with a report recommending legislation to make it easier for the Gardaí to monitor offenders after their release from prison.
