Gardaí have arrested three men following an attempted armed raid at a hotel in Co Kildare early this morning.

Gardaí have arrested three men following an attempted armed raid at a hotel in Co Kildare early this morning.

The alarm was raised when a worker reported seeing three men in balaclavas approaching the Hazel Hotel in Monasterevin shortly after 3.30am.
