Man killed, woman hurt in gangland shooting

A man was killed tonight and a woman injured in Dublin’s latest gangland gun attack.

The shooting happened in the driveway of a house in Tymon North Park in Tallaght, in the south of the city, at around 8.30pm.

Gardaí said the 27-year-old man was shot a number of times by a lone gunman and died at the scene.

A 26-year-old woman was shot in the leg and was rushed to Tallaght Hospital with injuries that are not believed to be life-threatening.
