The International Transport Federation is to seek the detention of a Latvian-registered freighter at the High Court in Dublin today.

The seven Ukrainian and two Russian crewmen on board the MV Defender are refusing to allow the vessel to leave Cork because of the alleged non-payment of almost €86,000 in salaries.
