Burton to meet head of Commission on Taxation

The Labour Party's finance spokesperson, Joan Burton, is due to meet the head of the Commission on Taxation today.

Frank Daly also held talks yesterday with representatives of Fine Gael and Sinn Féin.

The discussions are confidential, but they are understood to be focusing on potential areas where the Government can raise taxes when drawing up next month's emergency Budget.
